Just announced today. Disney bought Club Penguin for $700M with $350M up front and $350M incentive based.

If you look at the numbers (700k paying subscribers at ~$6/month), the site is generating $4.2M/month or $50.4M/year-ish in revenue so the valuation isn't completely unreasonable, especially if they can grow.

My kids play this game and love it, but my 7 year old daughter decided that she didn't need her subscription after playing it for a month...
